Report Overview

Global Hydrogen Generation Market Forecast and Trends

With the increasing demand for clean and green fuel is expected to witness an exponential increase in the years to come, with rising pollution levels along with stringent government regulations to control and curb the sulfur content and other harmful gases in fuels. These factors are further expected to propel the market growth. Increasing application and utilization of hydrogen in various industry verticals is expected to be the major driving factor.

Global Hydrogen Generation Market: Overview

Hydrogen is generated using numerous resources like coal, natural gas, biomass, and various other renewable and non-renewable source of energy. Currently, natural gas is the chief source of hydrogen production, and steam methane reformers utilizing natural gas is significantly used for the production. Nevertheless, in recent years the adoption of newer technologies, such as electrolytic and pyrolysis production technologies, is encouraged.

Growth Drivers

Growing demand for clean energy

Hydrogen is a rich source of energy for many reasons, the main being that it’s abundant in supply. While it may take a lot of resources to harness it, no other energy source is infinite as hydrogen. That, essentially, means there is no chance of it running out like different sources of energy.

Global Hydrogen Generation Market: Type

Based on type, the global Hydrogen Generation market segmented into Hoses, Manifolds, Regulators, Flowmeters, Suction Regulators, Vacuum Systems and Others.

Global Hydrogen Generation Market: End-Use

Based on the end-use, the global Hydrogen Generation market segmented into Hospitals, Clinics, Ambulatory Surgical Centers and Others.

Global Hydrogen Generation Market: Regional Insights

Based on region, the global Hydrogen Generation market segmented into North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, Latin America, and Middle East & Africa. The Asia Pacific market is expected to grow at a high CAGR during the forecast period due to the increasing demand for energy in the energy. Strong economic performance, along with considerable investments in R&D in countries such as China, South Korea, Japan, India, and Australia, is expected to fuel the growth. China is moving toward massive changes in the fuel and petroleum industry, to overcome various difficulties, including pollution and economic inequality between urban and rural populations. Factors such as increasing air pollution and growing sulfur content in the environment are also posing as challenges to the nation. Further, the presence of a large number of refineries in major countries, such as China and India, is forecasted to drive the utilization of hydrogen generation. Governments in some of the nations, such as Japan and Australia, are evaluating greener and cleaner technologies, which is anticipated to drive the growth.
